About the Event

This event will be a fundraiser concert for the International Baroque Ensemble tour during the first two weeks of April of 2022. This will be the From Screen to Stage tour and will take place at various venues in Colorado and the University of Kentucky (feel free to keep looking on our event page for updated venues, as well as concerts that are already listed with full information that will take place in these states). This tour is an educational and enrichment tour on historical performance, the methods and theories of historical performance, and instrumental history and significance. This Christmas concert will conisit of 2 arias by Henry Purcell ("Thus the Gloomy World" and "Hark the Ech'ing Air"), and a George F. Handel aria ("Let the Bright Seraphim" orchestral reduction for trumpet, voice, harpsichord and continuo). If you like and support what we do and want to see/experience more, please donate by clicking on the donate link located on the event page, or at the top of the home page in support of our tour that covers all aspects of historical performance, and music and period relevant instrumental education. If you would like to donate, but do not want to use the donation link, please feel free to email or message us and we will be happy to guide you through other ways you can support. We hope to see you there on December the 18th, at our tour in April, and we thank you for your continued support of the arts.
